‘Harriet Tubman, abolitionist, author, and engineer of the Underground Railroad, led Union Army guerillas into South Carolina and freed nearly 800 slaves on this date June 2 1863. Tubman was the first woman in U.S. history to command an armed military raid.’

My boyfriend and I went to see Niki & The Dove tonight. There were as amazing as expected.
Glasgow-based artist Jim Lambie can transform any space into a visual delight with his geometric tape designs. Using everyday vinyl tape, he creates angles and lines of contrasting colors that suggest movement and optical illusions. He can convert a once empty and quiet room into a space filled with energy. As viewers enter a converted space, they instantly have a visual interaction with the artwork.
FInally feeling much better today. I have tidied our flat and did a test piece of an oil painting I’m going to start. Going for a walk through Sunny Hackney to tesco. Need food and cake making supplies!
